News from the State Council of Professors (SPC) on October 10 said that the Council has completed voting to recognize the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2016.

ĐHQGHN có 36 nhà giáo được công nhận đạt chức danh Giáo sư và Phó Giáo sư năm 2016 — VNU has 36 teachers recognized as Professors and Associate Professors in 2016.

According to the vote of confidence, 64 people met the standards of Professor and 638 people met the standards of Associate Professor. The total number of people meeting the standards of Professor and Associate Professor this year is 702, more than in 2015.

Of which, VNU has 08 people meeting the standards of Professor, 28 people meeting the standards of Associate Professor.

Specifically:

- University of Education has 02 more Associate Professors;

- University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 03 more Professors and 07 Associate Professors;

- University of Natural Sciences has 02 more Professors and 09 Associate Professors;

- University of Economics has 02 more Associate Professors;

- University of Technology has 01 more Professor and 02 Associate Professors;

- University of Foreign Languages has 02 more Associate Professors;

- Faculty of Law has 01 more Professor and 01 Associate Professor;

- Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy has 02 more Associate Professors;

- Institute for Education Quality Assurance has 01 more Professor;

- Hanoi National University has 01 more Associate Professor.

In 2015, VNU had 04 teachers recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Professor and 19 teachers recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor.

As of early 2016, VNU has 57 Professors and 349 Associate Professors.
