Sad news: Associate Professor, Doctor, and People's Teacher Han Van Khan has passed away.

The Party Committee, Board of Directors, Trade Union Executive Committee, Association of Retired Teachers, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the family are deeply saddened to announce the passing of:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Han Van Khan (1940-2020)

Born in Gia Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho province; residing at No. 9, Alley 67, Nguyen Quy Duc Street, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.

55-Year Party Membership Badge, Second-Class Resistance War Medal, Third-Class Labor Medal, former Deputy Head of the History Department, former Head of the Archaeology Department, History Faculty, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi.

Due to old age and frail health, he passed away at 4:20 AM on May 4, 2020 (corresponding to the 12th day of the 4th lunar month of the Year of the Rat), at the age of 81.

The memorial service will be held from 3:00 PM on May 4, 2020 to 9:00 AM on May 6, 2020 at his hometown in Gia Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho province.

The memorial service will be held at 9:00 AM on May 6, 2020.

Cremation will take place at the Hoan Vu Thien Duc Crematorium in Phu Tho, followed by burial in the family cemetery.
