Awarding Party Badges and commendations for Party work in 2018

The Party members of the University's Party Committee who received the Party Badge in 2019 include: Comrade Pham Ngoc Thanh (Party Branch of the Faculty of Management Science, 45 years of Party membership), Comrade Nguyen Dinh Le (Party Branch of the Faculty of History, 45 years of Party membership), Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh (Party Branch of the Faculty of Philosophy, 40 years of Party membership), Comrade Pham Van Quyet (Party Branch of the Faculty of Sociology, 40 years of Party membership) and Comrade Dang Ngoc Trai (Party Branch II of the Rectorate, 30 years of Party membership).

At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Kim - Secretary of the Party Committee and Comrade Pham Quang Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee successively presented certificates of commendation from the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to collectives and individuals who met the criteria of "Outstanding Performance" for five consecutive years, from 2014 to 2018. The collectives receiving certificates included: Party Branch III of the Administrative Block and Party Branch of the Faculty of Psychology. Individuals included Comrade Nguyen Van Kim (Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector), Comrade Pham Quang Minh (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector), Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee), Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa (Secretary of the Party Branch of the Faculty of Sociology), Comrade Nguyen Hoi Loan (Party Branch of the Faculty of Sociology), and Comrade Tran Thi Quy (Party Branch of the Faculty of Information and Library Science).

The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also awarded certificates of merit to the Party branches with outstanding achievements in 2018, including: the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management, the Faculty of Philosophy, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Kim - Secretary of the University's Party Committee - affirmed the outstanding achievements that the University's Party Committee has attained in recent years. For 10 consecutive years, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has achieved the title of a clean and strong Party Committee, a model Party Committee of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in particular and within the Party Committee of the university bloc in general. Comrade Nguyen Van Kim also extended congratulations to the Party members who have just received the prestigious Party honors; the Party branches that have just received commendations from the Party committees at various levels and hoped that the Party members and Party branches would continue to contribute their intellect, affection, responsibility, and dedication to the development of the University's Party Committee in the future.

On behalf of the Party members receiving the Party Badge this time, Comrade Pham Ngoc Thanh expressed gratitude to the School's Party Committee for creating conditions for Party members to fulfill their duties, for having the opportunity to train in an intellectual educational environment, and for developing their abilities to contribute to the overall development of the School as well as to the country's scientific and educational cause.
