Prospects for cooperation with the Regional Academy of Politics and Public Administration III

On July 24, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal - and representatives of department leaders received and worked with a delegation of officials from the Academy of Politics and Public Administration Region III led by Associate Professor Dr. Truong Minh Duc - Vice Director of the Academy.The main content of the working session was to exchange experiences in training management, science and technology, and to seek cooperation opportunities between the two units in the coming time. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim said that in response to the new development trend, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has implemented the conversion of training methods according to credits since 2007. This is a difficult and complicated task, but with high determination, the University has initially succeeded in building basic foundations to meet the operation of the new training method. From 2011 to now, the University has been actively promoting solutions to bring credit training into depth, aiming at the goal of training quality as well as increasing the ability to connect between levels and majors. In addition, in recent years, the University's postgraduate training system has made great strides with more than 3,000 students, accounting for 40% of the university training scale. With a team of leading and experienced scientists, the School is trusted by Party and State agencies to undertake many important political tasks in training managers and experts in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Regarding the prospects of cooperation with the Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Region II, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim commented that there is a lot of potential, especially in cooperating in organizing postgraduate training in majors that are the strengths and common interests of both sides; organizing seminars on common scientific fields between the two sides... Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Minh Duc said: The Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Region III, was established in 1949, with 250 staff. The main task of the Academy is to train and foster key leaders, managers, and political theory scientists of the Party, State and socio-political organizations at all levels. Over the years, the Academy has always sought cooperation with many other training institutions to diversify training types, serving other needs of society. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the two units highly agreed on the prospects of cooperation between the two training institutions in the future.
