[Video] Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Information Technology

The 38th anniversary of the Faculty of Information and Library Science and the 15th anniversary of its establishment was celebrated on November 18, 2011. Thirty-eight years ago, the Faculty of Information and Library Science was the predecessor of the Department of Library and Bibliographic Studies under the Faculty of History, Hanoi University. On August 26, 1996, the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities issued a decision to establish the Department of Information and Library Science under the University. After more than eight years of training, research, and preparation, on August 26, 2004, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi issued a decision to establish the Faculty of Information and Library Science under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, based on the Department of Information and Library Science.
