On December 2, 2011, on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao PDR, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a friendly meeting with nearly 20 Lao students studying in the following faculties: Archival Studies and Office Management, Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, Linguistics... Attending the meeting were Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung - Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management, and representatives of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs. On behalf of the school's leaders, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu congratulated and shared his feelings with Lao students and graduate students studying in Vietnam on the occasion of the National Day of the Lao PDR. The Vice Principal sent his best wishes to all Lao students and hoped that Lao students would study hard, complete their studies, and return to their home country, contributing to the construction and development of Laos while fostering the strong friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Then, the leaders of the school, faculties, and functional departments also discussed and answered some difficulties in life and study in order to create the most favorable conditions for Lao students. Lao students expressed their honor, pride, and emotion at the school's affection and care for students.
