Dialogue between school leaders and students
The annual dialogue between the school leaders and students of all courses was held on November 27, 2011. Attending were representatives of the Board of Directors, leaders of functional departments, faculties, departments, the Youth Union, and the Student Association of the school. Many questions were compiled and up to several dozen questions were directly raised in the hall, which were directly listened to, discussed and answered by the school leaders with the students. The issue of policies, tuition fee exemption and reduction procedures, loan procedures, and scholarship consideration are always among the top concerns of students: Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs Pham Quang Vu answered students' questions based on the tuition fee exemption and reduction regulations according to Decree 49 of the Government. Especially regarding loan procedures, Mr. Pham Quang Vu said: The Department of Politics and Student Affairs will always pay attention to guiding and creating favorable conditions for students to apply for loans from local social policy banks and UOB bank to support students' studies to achieve the best results. Regarding training, the total questions sent to the Department of Politics and Student Affairs have decreased compared to last year. However, the number of direct questions from students is quite large and this is always a key issue in the dialogue between the school's leaders and students every year. Some questions raised by students are included in the regulations of the Training Department's leadership, stating that students need to refer to the information and training regulations on the School's website and the university training information portal. Some students of the K53 course raised some concerns and worries related to credit-based training, the rate of good and excellent degrees upon graduation, and social feedback on the quality of student training at the School. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Principal said: The rate of good and excellent degrees of the School is still relatively stable every year, students should not be confused or worried by information that is unfounded, and has no scientific assessment or evaluation. The Vice Principal hopes and believes that students will always be confident in demonstrating their abilities and knowledge acquired during their studies, affirming their own abilities as well as the reputation and training quality of the School.

In addition, there are a few other questions about the recognition of foreign language certificates, promoting the effectiveness of credit-based classes, registering for courses, etc. Regarding scientific research, there are opinions suggesting that the school should organize seminars to guide students on how to write scientific research outlines to help increase students' awareness of the significance of scientific research activities. And regarding the administrative and management work of the school, students reflect on the limited equipment for foreign language learning, toilets for students, and the sometimes inappropriate attitude of staff, etc. Answering questions about this area, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Administration - Management Dang Ngoc Trai said: the equipment for foreign language learning is undertaken by the University of Foreign Languages, but to create the best conditions for students' learning, the school will discuss and agree with the University of Foreign Languages to provide additional learning equipment. At the same time, maintain computers in the computer room to serve students' learning and Internet access. In particular, in the coming time, the facilities: the toilets will soon be upgraded, the garden area of building A will be renovated. Some other major activities of the School are also of interest to many students, such as: Party work, mass organizations, postgraduate training, international relations, quality control... All questions from students were directly answered by representatives of the leaders of functional units and affirmed that if students need more specific information, they can directly contact the staff of the specialized department to be provided with full and detailed information. Some opinions suggested that the School's leaders said that they will continue to research and consider to soon come up with appropriate solutions. At the end of the dialogue, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - representative of the Presidium suggested that students should carefully study the training regulations to be more proactive, avoiding unnecessary questions. At the same time ... The Vice Principal also encouraged students to continue to exchange opinions and feedback in many areas to the Board of Directors and functional departments to contribute to further improving the quality and efficiency of the School's activities.
