The Institute of Linguistics is recruiting civil servants.

The Institute of Linguistics held a civil service recruitment exam in December 2009.

Recruitment quota: 11, for the following civil service categories:

• Researcher: 10 indicators
• English Translator: 1 position

I. Recruitment Target

- Research staff: University graduates in Linguistics with a GPA of "good" or higher. If the degree is in Literature, then a graduation thesis, master's thesis, or doctoral dissertation in Linguistics is required.

- English Translator: University graduates in English Language with a GPA of "good" or higher.

II. Recruitment Requirements

1.Applicants for positions at the Institute must possess good moral character, meet the professional qualifications for the recruitment category, and fulfill the following conditions:

a) Be a Vietnamese citizen with a permanent residence address in Vietnam;

b) Ages from 18 to under 35;

c) Having submitted an application, a clear resume, and the diplomas and training certificates required for the position being applied for, specifically:

• Must have a university degree with a GPA of at least "good" or higher;
• Possess a foreign language certificate (in one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese) at level B;
• I have a Level B computer skills certificate.

d) Having sufficient health to perform the duties;

d) Not currently under criminal investigation, serving a prison sentence, undergoing non-custodial rehabilitation, under probation, subject to educational measures at the commune, ward, or town level, or admitted to a medical facility or educational institution.

2.The application dossier includes:

a. Application form;

b. A curriculum vitae (certified by the local government or the workplace of the applicant's parents);

c. Birth certificate;

d. A health certificate (issued by a general hospital) issued within the last 6 months prior to the application date;

d. Copies of diplomas and certificates (notarized);

e. University graduation transcript (notarized);

g. Legal documents regarding priority status (if any);

h. Two envelopes with stamps affixed and the address to which they should be sent written.
