The Center for Educational Exchange with Vietnam (CEEVN), part of the Council of American Academic Institutions, announces a grant program to support young researchers and scholars in undertaking a 6- to 9-month research project in any field of Asian studies, such as arts, culture, humanities, and social sciences.
Applicants must be able to conduct research and engage in academic exchange in English or any other language within Asian countries. The program does not fund research in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
The deadline for applications is January 15, 2010. This year, the scholarship prioritizes fields related to humanities, culture, arts, libraries, museums, etc.
