Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), established in 1955 and located in northern Taiwan, is a multidisciplinary university with modern teaching facilities. CYCU offers 14 different academic disciplines and a government-funded R&D center specializing in Membrane technology. Currently, CYCU has approximately 15,000 students enrolled across seven constituent schools: the School of Basic Sciences, Engineering, Commerce, Design, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Education and Humanities, and Law. CYCU offers 29 graduate programs and 13 doctoral programs across 27 different departments.
CYCU offers 11 postgraduate programs, including master's and doctoral degrees. The language of instruction is English. The programs include:

CYCU offers numerous scholarships for international students to ensure they have the financial means to complete their studies. Scholarship programs include:
- Graduate Scholarship Program (DIGS)
Tuition and other fees are waived. Scholarships are awarded at NT$ 6,000 per month for master's students for two years; and NT$ 8,000 per month for doctoral students for four years.

+ Free Chinese language training for one year.
Students are assigned to work as teaching assistants and participate in research with professors.
Academic performance in the first year will be the basis for awarding scholarships in subsequent years.
Students may receive additional stipends for participating in research projects with professors.

+ In subsequent years: based on the student's academic performance in the first year, the school will consider whether or not to continue the tuition waiver.
