After 4 years of studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Thao is very proud because there are good, experienced and dedicated teachers here. She likes to do in-depth research on journalism and media. Thao shared: “I feel very interested and curious about the hypotheses that are put forward, as well as the desire to find relative answers for them. I only registered to participate in scientific research in my final year of university. Although I won first prize, if I had invested in learning from my first year, I would have had a solid foundation and been exposed to many things, creating a more solid foundation in my academic pursuits.”

Thao used to be an intern as an editor at the Center for Documentary and Reportage of Vietnam Television (VTV) and a Community Executive at TiredCity. From this job, she became more daring and skillful.
According to Thao, understanding yourself is extremely important. Once you understand yourself, your strengths and weaknesses - your strengths and weaknesses, you will be more decisive in asserting yourself, without having to follow any standards.
The young girl also actively participates in community activities. Every time she receives a scholarship or award, Thao donates a portion to support funds such as: Raising Children, Green Life, Hanoi Dog and Cat Rescue Station, etc.

Phuong Thanh is a person who likes to explore, ask questions and find answers. Her friends often consult her before any problem that needs help. She has dreamed of pursuing a career in Psychology since she was a middle school student. Phuong Thanh found that understanding the problems of human mental life and psychology was complicated, so she wanted to challenge herself, then applied to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and was accepted.
Choosing a major based on her passion and desire to surpass herself, Phuong Thanh also found a suitable learning method and it was not difficult to achieve high scores. The valedictorian shared: “The most important thing is that studying must be accompanied by purpose and goals. If you study in a vague state, just to pass the subject, or think that this knowledge will not be on the exam so you do not study, it will be very difficult to absorb.”
With long classes and a lot of knowledge, she reviewed the syllabus, the main points of the lesson, and marked the issues she wanted to ask more about before going to class. During class, she always tried to interact with the lecturer, taking notes of examples or content that the lecturer had noted for the midterm and final exams.
After trying hard and reaping many sweet fruits, the girl won many scholarships to encourage learning from the school, received the Shinnyo Japan scholarship for all 4 years of study, and achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the school level in the 2019-2020 school year. In addition, she enthusiastically participated in the student scientific research movement and the Humanities Stone Flower Club. Besides, she also spent time experiencing volunteer activities, working part-time...
Phuong Thanh chose to start working early for two main purposes: to gain work experience, get familiar with the environment and possible problems; Because of the orientation of “going South”, she chose companies with offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to be more proactive in her work. Thanks to that, she also learned many things outside of school.
Currently, the valedictorian is working in the field of human resources and learning more about career counseling. She plans to gain more work experience before applying for a scholarship to study abroad for a master's degree.
