Ngoc Tan's passion for hosting began when she first took to the stage to host an event at her high school. Standing on stage as an MC for the first time made her very nervous, but the enthusiastic response and support from everyone made her very happy. From then on, she was chosen to host more and more events, both large and small. Gradually, it became a lifelong dream, motivating her to work hard, learn, and absorb experience from her seniors to pursue this passion and calling.

I still like to stick to established rules; I'm someone who wants to balance my studies at school with participation in many extracurricular activities. I want to share some tips that helped me balance my studies and extracurricular activities for your reference:

1. Set clear goals: Establish specific learning and activity goals; Identify the long-term benefits of investing time in both learning and activities; Create an effective and appropriate time schedule.

2. Use a calendar and to-do list: Always prioritize important tasks; ensure you have enough time for studying and extracurricular activities. When you use a clear calendar, you can easily balance your work and activities. I prefer using Google Calendar and Google Tasks,...

3. Break down tasks: Divide large tasks into smaller, more manageable steps; prioritize completing important tasks first.

4. Managing emotions and stress: I'm sure there will be times when I'm very stressed, so I have to learn how to handle stress through shared content like podcasts on Spotify and YouTube; I often practice relaxation techniques like meditation and exercise to reduce stress.

5. Seek support and dialogue: If you encounter difficulties, seek help from teachers, friends, or family; join study groups to share knowledge and experiences. I have a habit of seeking out close friends or people who can answer my questions when I face difficulties or problems, to "resolve" the issues.

6. Maintain motivation: Make a list of the benefits you will gain from achieving your goal; visualize a successful future to maintain motivation.

7. Actively participate: Proactively seek out and participate in activities and events that interest you; consider how these activities can complement your personal and professional development.

8. Set priorities: Identify which activities are more important and prioritize them. Sometimes, rejecting some unimportant activities can help focus on more important goals.

9. Rewarding yourself is extremely important: I often set small milestones in my work and activities and reward myself when I achieve them. This helps strengthen my willpower and motivation through my activities and studies.

10. Enjoy the process: Remember that the learning process and participation in activities are equally important. Enjoy every step and learn from the experience. By combining these steps, you can optimize your time and energy to both study well and participate in many activities and events.

The job of an MC brings many experiences and challenges.

1. The MC (Master of Ceremonies) profession offers diverse and challenging experiences. Below are some common experiences that I, as an MC, have gained and learned from: Since pursuing a career in hosting, I have improved my communication skills. The MC profession requires excellent communication skills to interact with the audience, maintain their attention, and create a positive atmosphere. I have also greatly improved my vocal control, emotional regulation, and the use of appropriate language in different situations.

2. I've become more confident interacting with crowds: Before, I was very afraid of crowds, afraid of people staring at me, so I was quite insecure for a long time. Later, after gaining more experience, I realized that an important part of the role of an MC is interacting with the audience. This includes creating a comfortable atmosphere, sending positive messages, and sometimes even resolving emergencies or unexpected situations.

3. I consciously prepared everything carefully: Although many of the MC's lines may be scripted, adaptability and quick reactions are crucial. Careful preparation ensures that the MC has sufficient knowledge of the event and the team, and can handle any situation. In addition, there's the matter of attire, demeanor, etc.; with thorough preparation, it's certain to be a better performance.

4. Experience with various types of events: MCs often participate in a wide variety of events, from business conferences, weddings, and award ceremonies to artistic performances. This provides diverse experiences and allows them to work with many different audiences and in various locations.

5. Pressure and Challenges: MCs often face pressure and challenges in keeping an event running smoothly. This includes managing time, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive atmosphere even when things go wrong.

6. Integration and Relationships: MCs have the opportunity to integrate into the community and build relationships with many people. This can create special connections and new career opportunities.

7. Creativity: Creating creative and engaging performances is a crucial part of being an MC. This helps create a unique and memorable atmosphere for the event. The MC profession not only provides exciting and unique experiences but also demands professionalism, creativity, and flexibility in the work environment.

Difficulties are the first steps to success.

Throughout my youth, I faced numerous challenges in my studies and held seven part-time jobs. While my family wasn't financially struggling, ensuring a stable income was essential to supporting them. In my studies, I had to work long hours to secure sufficient funds for continued education and participation in various activities. Occasionally, the pressure of academics and part-time work added to my mental burden, posing significant challenges to time management and health. However, these difficulties became a driving force for me to learn and grow. I learned effective time management, developed teamwork skills, and set specific goals for my academic and career development.

My family and my mother are my greatest source of encouragement, and their love has helped me overcome all difficulties. My efforts and perseverance have taken me from small beginnings, like working part-time to cover expenses, to greater successes in my career and life. My positive attitude and gratitude help me see challenges as opportunities for growth. Every difficulty is a lesson, and I've learned to face them with strength. Sometimes, overcoming difficulties may lead to small successes, but they are crucial steps on the path to maturity and achieving my dreams.

Our mission is to inspire positivity in young people and the community.

As a young person passionate about voice and self-confidence, I've always felt a strong desire to help young people overcome their own fears and break free from their own shadows. I've participated in many inspirational workshops. In particular, inspired by this, I organized the workshop "The SHADOW: Overcoming Your Own Shadow," which resonated deeply with students.

Besides those activities, I also participate in many volunteer work, environmental protection, and social contribution activities at various businesses and companies. Most importantly, choose activities that reflect your values ​​and passions. Contributing to society is not only a good way to help others but also an opportunity to develop yourself and build a strong community.

In the future, I will continue to pursue the path I have chosen, which is being a presenter. I have a few future goals, such as pursuing a Master's degree, learning a new foreign language, and participating in more activities. I will continue to fulfill my mission of inspiring young people to use their voices to build society and spread positive energy to the community.
