The 9th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Student Association, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, term 2020-2023

The Congress was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice Principal of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Standing member of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Comrade Hua Thanh Hoa - Vice President of the Hanoi City Student Association, President of the VNU Student Association; representatives of the leaders of functional departments, representatives of the Party Committee - Board of Directors of Institutes/Faculties/Departments; Representatives of the University's Youth Union; former officers of the Association from different periods; representatives of the Association's departments and colleges and universities in Hanoi and Representatives of the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM.

In addition, the Congress had the presence of 200 official delegates who are outstanding members and students from the Student Association's branches, clubs/groups/teams/groups representing more than 8,000 members and students studying at the school.

After watching the video summarizing the work of the Association and the student movement for the 2018-2020 term, the Congress listened to three presentations: "Accompanying" presented by comrade Pham Thuy Phuong - Vice President of the School's Student Association for the 2018-2020 term, "Breakthrough" presented by MC Huong Giang - Former student of the Faculty of Psychology, the first blind MC of Vietnam Television, "Responsibility" presented by comrade Le Quang Phap - Former student of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, member of the Secretariat of the School's Student Association for the 2014-2016 term, former captain of the Student Volunteer Team.

In addition, the Congress commended collectives and individuals who made positive contributions to the Association's work and student movements at the Central Association level, Hanoi City Student Association, VNU Student Association and 5 Good Students at the school level.

The Congress conducted consultations on the 9th Executive Committee of the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, for the 2020-2023 term, consisting of 21 comrades.

Within the framework of the program, the Congress presented gifts and said goodbye to the comrades of the Executive Committee of the 18th term who are no longer participating in the Executive Committee of the 9th term and celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the School's Student Association. 

Delegates attending the Congress approved the Resolution of the 9th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, for the 2020-2023 term.
