On the morning of November 17, on the occasion of the celebration of the Teachers' Charter Day and Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 2020), US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink visited the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi). Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Former Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and students majoring in International Relations (Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) welcomed and accompanied Ambassador Daniel J. Kritenbrink.
The US Ambassador and Professor Pham Quang Minh sent greetings to each other. The US Ambassador received a bouquet of fresh flowers from Nguyen My Dieu (International Relations Department - Faculty of International Studies)

The US Ambassador listened to Dr. Do Thi Huong Thao (Faculty of History) share about the history of 82 stone steles with the names of the Doctors of the examinations at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. Students offer incense with the Ambassador to pay respect to teacher and cultural celebrity Chu Van An. The meeting with the Ambassador at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is a practical and useful extracurricular activity for students of the Faculty of International Studies.
