On March 8, 2021, the Trade Union of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the homeroom teachers and the school's Media Club, organized a "Flower Arranging Festival" for the students.

Unlike other Mondays, after the weekly flag-raising ceremony, teachers and students of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities were divided into classes to participate in a flower arrangement competition. “The competition is an opportunity for us to bond more with our teachers. My teacher woke up at 4 am to buy flowers for us,” shared a student from the High-Quality Class 1. In the gentle spring rain, teachers and students carefully selected each flower and trimmed each leaf to create the most beautiful and meaningful flower arrangements, as a gift to women on the first International Women's Day at the school.

“We want to convey through our class's flower arrangement our feelings about the graceful and harmonious beauty of Vietnamese women. Gentle, patient, and enduring, yet they are also very strong, very proud, very beautiful in appearance, and have a pure and innocent soul,” – said Tran Phuong Linh in her class's flower arrangement presentation.
