The scholarship policy applies to students of 09 basic science majors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, including the following majors: Literature, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, Vietnamese Studies, Linguistics and Han Nom.

Today, October 7, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Professor Klaus Schwab visited VNU and interacted with students on the topic of Positioning Vietnam in the smart era - Vision for the young generation at Nguyen Van Dao Hall.

Le Thao Nguyen - Former student of class 63, Southeast Asian Studies major, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, has just successfully applied for a scholarship to study abroad in 05 European countries.

(SVVN) Despite her difficult family circumstances, Thu Huong asked her mother to let her go to school, won a scholarship, worked part-time to pay for her expenses, and became valedictorian of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

On May 3, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace, the team of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, participated in the Final Round of the Contest "Guide at the Ho Chi Minh Monument Site at the Presidential Palace". In the Final Round, the student team of the Faculty of Tourism Studies won the consolation prize in the individual and collective categories.

(SVVN) Dinh Bui My Hanh - a third-year student majoring in Social Work, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) is the Captain of the USSH Social Work Student Team. My Hanh has a great passion for social work because she enjoys helping others. Hanh finds this a meaningful and humane field of study because it pursues the goal of human welfare, happiness and social progress, helping disadvantaged people solve problems.

(SVVN) Ma Kim Hong - a third-year student majoring in Literature is a member of the Student Union Secretariat of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. Since high school, Hong was a shy, timid girl but had a special love for the Union - Association work. Nurturing her love for the Union - Association since then, when she was in university, she learned about and participated in the Student Union organization and became a Collaborator of the Student Union right from her first year.

On the afternoon of January 14, the Top 16 best candidates of the USSH Gralent 2023 program had a volunteer trip to the Vietnam Friendship Village, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi city. Here, many activities took place in a bustling, joyful atmosphere between the candidates and veterans and children in the village.

On the evening of December 28, 2023, VNU organized a meeting with international students and a New Year 2024 celebration.

(SVVN) Nguyen Kim Tung (born in 2000) comes from Bac Ninh. After graduating with an excellent degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, and with a passion for social work, Kim Tung was fortunate to become a specialist working at the Office of the Youth Union - Student Association of VNU, Hanoi. As a young cadre, he always strives to advise, organize and lead union members, making the Union movement a strong and exemplary unit.

This morning, October 24, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the KF - Samsung Foundation (Korea) organized a scholarship award ceremony for outstanding students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On October 14-15, 2023, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU successfully organized the 2023 Party Awareness Training Class with the participation of nearly 240 students who are outstanding youth union members and active masses of 22 Party cells under the Party Committee of the school.
