The scholarship policy applies to students of the 9 basic science majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, including: Literature, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, Vietnamese Studies, Linguistics, and Sino-Vietnamese Studies.

Today, October 7, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), visited Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and interacted with students on the topic of "Positioning Vietnam in the Smart Age - A Vision for the Young Generation" at the Nguyen Van Dao Auditorium.

The scholarship is awarded annually to support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in their studies, scientific research, and international exchange.

This is the 10th time the Oesol Foundation and SJ Tech Vietnam have awarded scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

Le Thao Nguyen, a former student of the K63 cohort in Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has successfully applied for scholarships to study in five European countries.

(SVVN) Despite her difficult family circumstances, Thu Huong asked her mother for permission to study, won scholarships, and worked part-time to make ends meet, eventually becoming the valedictorian of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On May 3rd, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace, the team from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, participated in the Final Round of the "On-site Tour Guide Competition at the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site". In the final round, the team of students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies won the Encouragement Award in both the individual and team categories.

(SVVN) Dinh Bui My Hanh, a third-year student majoring in Social Work at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), is the team leader of the USSH Student Social Work Team. My Hanh has a great passion for social work because she enjoys helping others. Hanh recognizes it as a meaningful and humane field of study because it pursues the goals of human welfare, happiness, and social progress, assisting vulnerable groups in solving their problems.

(SVVN) Ma Kim Hong, a third-year Literature student, is a member of the Secretariat of the Student Union at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Since high school, Hong has been a shy and reserved girl, but she has had a special love for Youth Union and Student Union activities. Nurturing this love, she joined the Student Union in her first year at university and became a collaborator for the university's Student Union.

On the afternoon of January 14th, the top 16 contestants of the USSH Talent 2023 program volunteered at the Vietnam Friendship Village in Hoai Duc District, Hanoi. Many activities took place there in a lively and joyful atmosphere, fostering camaraderie between the contestants and the veterans and children at the village.

On the evening of December 28, 2023, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized a program to meet international students and celebrate the New Year 2024.

(SVVN) Nguyen Kim Tung (born in 2000) is from Bac Ninh. After graduating with honors from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and driven by his passion for social work, Kim Tung was fortunate enough to become a staff member at the Youth Union - Student Association Office of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. As a young officer, he always strives to advise, organize, and lead union members, making the Youth Union movement a strong and exemplary unit.

The heartfelt sentiments of former student Takano Isao and his family towards the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, are a testament to the sacred teacher-student relationship and the warm friendship between the people of Vietnam and Japan.

This morning, October 24, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the KF-Samsung Foundation (Korea), held a scholarship awarding ceremony for outstanding students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On October 14-15, 2023, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, successfully organized the 2023 Party Awareness Training Course, with the participation of nearly 240 trainees, including outstanding youth union members and active citizens from 22 Party branches under the university's Party Committee.
