The opening ceremony was brief but no less solemn and meaningful. This year's tournament takes place in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and also marks the 5th anniversary of the tournament known as the Four-Team Cup..

The head of the organizing committee, Luong Trung Hieu, is a K58 Journalism student who has participated in the tournament many times over the years. Besides mentioning the tournament's history and commenting on the organization, he affirmed: "This is a tournament for students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. Teams should play fiercely and give their all in every match. In the game, we are rivals, but outside of the game, we are still brothers."

I would also like to thank the lecturers in the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication, and all generations of students from our faculty who have always supported the tournament over the past 5 years. Congratulations on the 5th anniversary of the Four-Team Cup and may it forever remain a sporting brand of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication.”

Immediately afterwards, on behalf of the players and the referees, captain of K57 BC&TT Tran Viet Nhat and referee Dang Huynh read the oath, vowing to compete and perform their duties honestly and nobly.

With the goal of becoming a healthy sports movement that unites the different cohorts within the faculty, while also providing a platform for practicing professional skills in journalism and media, this year's tournament brings together 4 teams representing 4 cohorts from the regular program: K57, K58, K59, and K60 Journalism & Media. The 4 teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top 2 teams advancing to the final match.

Prior to the opening ceremony, the first round of matches was very exciting, with K57 BC&TT narrowly defeating K58 BC&TT 1-0. Meanwhile, the "newcomer" K60 BC&TT convincingly beat their seniors K59 BC&TT with a score of 3-1.

Matches at the 2015 Four-Team Cup will be held continuously on Sunday mornings from December 6th to December 27th at the C500 Stadium, People's Security Academy (Ha Dong, Hanoi).
