Opening of USSH cup 2015

Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal, Chairman of the School Sports Association, Head of the Tournament Steering Committee; MSc. Nguyen Van Thuy - Vice Chairman of the School Sports Association; MSc. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Vice Chairman of the School Sports Association; Mr. Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the School Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Tournament Steering Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan - President of the School Student Association, Deputy Head of the Tournament Steering Committee, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee; along with members of the referee team, more than 200 players and a large number of fans from faculties and departments in the school.

This year's USSH Cup 2015 women's football tournament gathered 16 teams from 16 faculties in the school and divided into 4 groups. After the opening speech of Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Vice Principal of the school, the fans started the matches in the groups. The notable point in this first series of matches was that the female team of the Faculty of Anthropology excellently held the current runner-up of the Faculty of Political Science to a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, the current champion of Psychology only won 1 point against the difficult team of Sociology after a goalless draw.

The second round of the group stage is expected to take place next week, October 24, at the People's Security Academy stadium.
