Opening Ceremony of the USSH Cup 2015

Attending the opening ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh – Vice Rector, President of the University Sports Association, Head of the tournament organizing committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy – Vice President of the University Sports Association; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President of the University Sports Association; Mr. Tran Bach Hieu – Secretary of the University Youth Union, Deputy Head of the tournament organizing committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan – President of the University Student Association, Deputy Head of the tournament organizing committee, Head of the tournament organizing committee; along with members of the referee team, over 200 players and a large number of supporters from various faculties and departments in the university.

The 2015 USSH Women's Football Cup brought together 16 teams from 16 faculties within the university, divided into 4 groups. Following the opening remarks by Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University, the fans began watching the matches in each group. A notable point in this first round of matches was the impressive 1-1 draw between the Anthropology Faculty's women's team and the defending runner-up, the Political Science Faculty. Meanwhile, the defending champion, Psychology, only managed to secure one point against the tough Sociology team after a goalless draw.

Matchday 2 of the group stage is scheduled to take place next week, on October 24th, at the People's Security Academy football field.
