Second round of university admissions: new students eagerly anticipate enrollment.

Parents and new students arrived very early to prepare for the enrollment process.

As early as 7:00 AM, many parents and students were already present at room 604 in building E to prepare for enrollment. Mr. Tran Van Ngoan, the parent of Tran Thi Thu Huong, had traveled from Tuyen Quang to Hanoi on the afternoon of September 6th and stayed at a guesthouse opposite the school gate so he could arrive early for enrollment. Huong registered for the Sociology major with a score of 81.5.

As a war veteran with a leg disability who uses crutches, Mr. Ngoan faced many difficulties when taking his child to school. He shared tearfully, “The first difficulty was that I didn’t know the way around. Secondly, there were many procedures I didn’t know when I arrived. But when we got there, the teachers guided us very attentively. Especially the volunteer students. From the time I came to register my child for the exam until today, I have received so much help from them. Truly, in a society like today, that enthusiasm is very valuable.”

Mr. Tran Van Ngoan (Tuyen Quang) and his daughter received very enthusiastic help from the student volunteers.

Ms. Dang Thi Nhung (from Hung Yen province) – mother of Dang Ngoc Anh – also left for Hanoi early in the morning to enroll her child. She recounted: “Initially, our family was undecided between History and Philosophy. But then, we decided on Philosophy. My daughter only scored 80 points on the exam, so before knowing the cutoff score, my daughter and I were very worried, fearing she wouldn't have enough points. On the fourth day, when we saw her name on the computer, we were overjoyed because it matched our family's aspirations and wishes.”

Students who have not yet received their admission letter can come directly to the school to receive it and complete the enrollment procedures.

This year's second intake of K60 students has seen many special cases. Many former students of universities such as the Foreign Trade University and the National Economics University have decided to continue their studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Nguyen Hong Nga (1994) is one such case. Nga studied for three years in the International Bachelor's program at the National Economics University. However, last year, Nga decided to drop out and retake the entrance exam for the Philosophy department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Nga explained: "The more I studied the other major, the more I realized it wasn't a good fit for me. I don't have a passion for economics and prefer social science fields. My grades at the other university weren't good either, so last year I decided to retake the exam. I'm very lucky to have received the support of my family throughout the two months of exam preparation until now. Although I seem older than my peers, I'm not worried at all because I believe that learning is a lifelong process." After enrolling, Nga also hopes to apply to the High-Quality Literature or Clinical Psychology programs to have better learning opportunities.

The enrollment period will end 15 days from today. Candidates whose names are on the list of successful applicants should enroll early to keep up with the curriculum. When enrolling, please remember to bring all the necessary documents as published on the school's website.
