University admission round 2: new students are eager to enroll

Parents and new students were present very early to prepare for admission procedures.

As early as 7am, many parents and students were present in room 604 of building E to prepare for school entry. Mr. Tran Van Ngoan - parent of Tran Thi Thu Huong - came from Tuyen Quang to Hanoi on the afternoon of September 6th and stayed at a motel opposite the school gate so that he could come to school early. Huong registered for Sociology with a score of 81.5.

As a war invalid with a leg disability and having to use crutches, Uncle Ngoan encountered many difficulties when taking his child to school. He tearfully shared: “The first difficulty was that I did not know the way around. The second was that when I went to school, there were many procedures that I did not know. But when I first arrived, the teachers gave me very enthusiastic instructions. Especially the volunteer students. From the time I came to register for the exam until today, I have received a lot of help from them. Truly, in a society like today, that enthusiasm is very valuable.”

Mr. Tran Van Ngoan (Tuyen Quang) and his daughter received enthusiastic help from volunteer students.

Ms. Dang Thi Nhung (Hung Yen) - Dang Ngoc Anh's mother - also left for Hanoi early in the morning to enroll her child in school. She said: "At first, my whole family was hesitant between the two faculties of History and Philosophy. But then, the family decided to choose the Faculty of Philosophy. My exam score was only 80 points, so when we didn't know the admission score, my wife and I were very worried, afraid that we wouldn't have enough points. On the fourth day, when we saw my child's name on the computer, we were so happy because it matched the direction and wishes of the family."

Students who have not received the Admission Notice can come directly to the school to receive the notice and complete the admission procedures.

This year's second admission period of K60 students witnessed many special cases. Many former students of universities such as Foreign Trade University, National Economics University... decided to continue their studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Nguyen Hong Nga (1994) is such a case. Nga studied for 3 years the International Bachelor program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. But last year, Nga decided to drop out and retake the entrance exam for the Philosophy Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Nga explained: "Because the more I study that major, the more I feel that it is not suitable for me. I am not passionate about economics but prefer social sciences. My study results at that university were not good, so last year I decided to retake the exam. I am very lucky to have received support from my family during the two months of exam preparation until now. Even though I seem to be "older" than my friends, I am not worried because I believe that learning is lifelong." After enrolling, Nga also wishes to enroll in the Advanced Literature or Clinical Psychology program to have better learning opportunities.

The enrollment period will end 15 days from today. Candidates whose names are on the list of candidates who have passed the selection should enroll early to be able to keep up with the study program. When enrolling, candidates should pay attention to bring all necessary documents as announced on the school website.
