The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the tradition and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In addition, the meeting also discussed several issues related to the long-term activities of the Alumni Association, such as: building a database of alumni; communication activities to promote the image and values of the Alumni Association to the community and to the students of the University; solutions to build mutually beneficial relationships between alumni and employers, as well as the Faculty, University, and students; and the decentralization of activities and coordination between the University-level Alumni Association and the Faculty-level Alumni Associations.
According to the initial plan, the Alumni Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was scheduled to hold its first official meeting on October 3, 2015, at the Me Tri Dormitory. However, this date coincided with a series of activities celebrating the university's anniversary. Therefore, after much deliberation, the Executive Committee decided to postpone the meeting. The Association also encouraged the Faculty Alumni Chapters to organize their own separate meetings. Furthermore, each Chapter is responsible for compiling the alumni database for each faculty and submitting it to the Executive Committee. In addition, to support the completion of the book "From This School," the Association requests that alumni submit articles to the Executive Committee.
During this meeting, the Council also discussed the work accomplished in the past and drew lessons learned to improve future operations.
