The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is pleased to announce the organization of the Annual Meeting of SEAMEO SPAFA at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

At the invitation from National Junior College (NJC - Singapore), the delegation of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities (HSSH) - under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University (VNU-USSH) including 3 teachers and 13 students took part in cultural and academic exchange at the International Humanities Symposium of NJC, Singapore.

On the morning of August 11, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony of the credit exchange program for students from Virginia University (USA).

Nearly 1,600 new bachelors in 27 full-time majors and 40 in full-time second majors from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) were conferred with their bachelor's degrees at the commencement ceremony by the 5th and 6th of August, 2023

The course enables learners to explore the historical, cultural and human characteristics of Hanoi as a dynamic, developed metropolis of Asia; in particular, providing students with the opportunity to learn, exchange and practice research on the basis of theoretical systems and interdisciplinary approaches in urban studies in the Global South. The course program is organized on the basis of cooperation between two specialized training institutions in social science and humanities research, namely the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Faculty of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Cologne, Germany.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi informed the candidates about the results of the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Assessment Test according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners held on July 29. 2023.

On August 1, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China (PolyU) signed an agreement for cooperation with a focus on social work, marking a new milestone of the social work industry’s development in VNU-USSH in particular and in Vietnam in general.

This is the result of the work of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University (VNU-USSH) and a series of consulting and supporting activities of Indiana University (USA) within the framework of the PHER (Partnership for Higher Education Reform) Project that has been taking place at VNU-USSH for many months.
