With the aim of equipping teachers with the necessary teaching methods, skills and strategies to convey to students who need to take the TOEFL ITP exam, the Center for Foreign Languages and International Education Promotion (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE Vietnam) organized the workshop "TOEFL ITP TEACHING SKILLS".
With the aim of equipping teachers with the necessary teaching methods, skills and strategies to convey to students who need to take the TOEFL ITP exam, the Center for Foreign Languages and International Education Promotion (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE Vietnam) organized the workshop "TOEFL ITP TEACHING SKILLS".By participating in the workshop, teachers will be introduced in detail about the test format and practice exercises to improve their understanding of the skills and methods of teaching to students. The presenter - Ms. Helen Huntley, Director of IIE Vietnam will introduce exercises that students can self-study to prepare for the test, the necessary vocabulary for each part of the test. The workshop will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Room 701, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (336, Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi). According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the results of the TOEFL ITP test are used to assess the English proficiency of domestic graduate students and researchers (400 TOEFL ITP points for candidates taking the entrance exam for master's level, 450 TOEFL ITP points for advanced students and 500 points for doctoral candidates before defending their thesis).
