Tour Guide Course

The Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities will open a short-term training course and certificate in Tour Guide Profession on April 25, 2011. This is a certificate that is a prerequisite for being granted a Tour Guide card.Subjects: According to the Short-term Training Framework Program for Tour Guide Profession, issued under Decision No. 1416/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 14, 2009, the training subjects are stipulated as follows: 1. Training period of 1 month: Trainees are those who have a university degree in Tourism or higher but not in the field of tour guiding. 2. Training period of 2 months: Trainees are those who have a high school or college degree in Tourism but not in the field of tour guiding or have a university degree or higher in the field of economics, social sciences and humanities. 3. Training period of 3 months: Trainees are those who have a secondary school or college degree in another field or have a university degree or higher in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology. *Extended subjects: Final year students can be considered for admission if they have a need and have a certificate confirming that they are final year students. Before being considered for a course certificate, students must submit a notarized graduation certificate. Study time: From 6pm, all evenings of the week from Monday to Friday.
