Enrollment for Television Profession Class (March 2011)

University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling for a short-term television training course, opening in March 2011.- Target: Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities. - Objective: At the end of the course, students will grasp basic theoretical knowledge about television, and master professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically as follows: + Television scripts and scripts; television program production process; television journalism genres; television terminology. + Techniques for filming basic television genres such as television news, reports, television documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice filming on modern video cameras. + Non-linear film editing techniques and popular computer graphics programs today. Study in depth the latest video editing and special effects software on computers such as: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Hollwood FX, Adobe After Effects... Study 100% directly on a high-end computer, practice on video editing cards from Matrox, Pinnacle... Editing various types of television, music videos,... - Study time: 6 weeks. 3 sessions per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Practice time: 60-70% of the course time. - Use of students' practice products: Appropriate and good quality practice products will be posted on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the authors will receive royalties according to the current regulations. - Opening: March 2011 - Tuition: 3,000,000 VND/student/course. Students studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 2,500,000 VND/student/course. Former students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with degrees granted by University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 2,700,000 VND/course.

- Location: Center for Journalism and Communication, 3rd floor, Building H, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi. - Time: During office hours from Monday to Friday * Application documents: - Application form (receive and fill in the form at the place of registration) - Copy of ID card/student card/university diploma - 2 photos 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months) * Application collection: From February 8, 2011 to March 7, 2011 * Tuition payment: Pay at least 70% of tuition on the day of registration. No refunds after the start of the course.
