Recruitment for Television Broadcasting Professional Training Course (March 2011)

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is recruiting students for a short-term television broadcasting training course, commencing in March 2011.- Target audience: Graduates/current students from colleges/universities. - Objectives: Upon completion of the course, students will acquire basic theoretical knowledge of television and master the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically: + Scriptwriting and television scripts; television program production process; television journalism genres; television terminology. + Techniques for filming basic television genres such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice filming on modern video cameras. + Techniques for non-linear editing and common computer graphics special effects programs. Learn in-depth about the latest video editing and special effects software on computers such as: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Hollywood FX, Adobe After Effects… 100% hands-on training on high-performance computers, practicing on video editing cards from Matrox, Pinnacle… Editing various types of television programs, music videos, etc. - Course duration: 6 weeks. 3 sessions per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Practical sessions: 60-70% of the course time. - Use of student work: Suitable and high-quality work will be published on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and authors will receive royalties according to current regulations. - Start date: March 2011 - Tuition fee: 3,000,000 VND/student/course. Students currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities pay 2,500,000 VND/student/course. Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with degrees awarded by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 2,700,000 VND/course.

- Location: Center for Journalism and Communication Studies, 3rd Floor, Building H, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. - Time: During office hours, Monday to Friday. * Application documents: - Application form (obtain and fill out at the registration location) - Copy of ID card/student card/university diploma - 2 photos 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months) * Application submission: From February 8th, 2011 to March 7th, 2011 * Tuition payment: Pay at least 70% of the tuition fee on the registration day. Tuition fees are non-refundable after the course begins.
