The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is recruiting students for a short-term training course on "Public Relations Skills - Event Organization" (basic level), with a certificate awarded by the University, commencing in 2011.
- Object:Employees and specialists at media companies and event organizers, as well as graduates or current students at colleges/universities.
- Target:Upon completion of the course, students will acquire the theoretical knowledge and professional skills of Public Relations (PR) and event organization, and will be able to work immediately in media and event organizing companies, or in information, communication, and public relations departments at agencies, ministries, organizations, and social groups both domestically and internationally.
- Training program:Students will learn about the following topics: + Communication and the fundamental issues of modern communication + Overview of PR and basic PR processes + Overview of the Vietnamese press system and the relationship between PR and journalism + Press release writing skills + Press conference organizing skills + Communication skills with the media + Event organization and management skills + Interviewing and answering press interviews
- Study time6 weeks. 3 sessions per week.

- TuitionCourse fee: 1,900,000 VND/student/course. Students or alumni of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with a degree awarded by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 1,700,000 VND/course.
- LecturerThe faculty consists of experienced lecturers who have received professional and systematic training in communication and public relations in advanced countries around the world such as South Korea, the UK, and the Soviet Union, from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, as well as public relations experts.
