Master's Degree in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology

The Master's Degree in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology is an internationally recognized training degree in the Asia Pacific region. This is a joint training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-Hanoi - Vietnam) and the University of Toulouse II - le Mirail (France), with the support of the Francophone University Agency (AUF).

The main language of instruction is French. This program helps to develop the clinical and social functions of a practicing psychologist; at the same time, it allows students, after completing the program, to directly enroll in the PhD program.

Learners will be equipped with in-depth knowledge to work with children, adolescents and young families, such as: intervention, psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychological supervision, accompanying and guiding parents in child care, etc.; especially equipping learners with methods of working with a team of therapists and educators at treatment facilities.

* Admission requirements:

• Priority is given to French-speaking students who have completed a bachelor's degree (for Asian students) or a level 1 master's degree (for European students) in psychology.
• Candidates in other majors who have taken a psychology course in university or have experience working with children, can be considered for admission. For these candidates, additional study of basic knowledge in Developmental Psychology is mandatory. The additional knowledge course will be organized by the Faculty of Psychology - University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) and certificates will be awarded every August.

*Admission form: Selection is based on the candidate's profile and presentation ability before a panel of French-speaking experts in the field of psychology.

*Tuition: 800$/year.

* The program lasts for 1 year. Toulouse II – le Mirail University awards degrees.
