The Department of Linguistics (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) is organizing a training course on methods for teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.
The Department of Linguistics (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) is organizing a training course on methods for teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language. 1. The training program includes the following subjects:
  • Methods for teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.
  • Methods for teaching Vietnamese grammar as a foreign language.
  • Methods for teaching Vietnamese vocabulary as a foreign language.
  • Methods for teaching pronunciation and listening and speaking skills in Vietnamese as a foreign language.
  • Methods for teaching Vietnamese reading comprehension as a foreign language.
  • Methods for teaching Vietnamese writing as a foreign language.
  • Practice teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.
2. The participants are those who:
  • Have graduated or are currently studying at university.
  • There is a need for further learning about methods for teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.
3. Benefits for students after completing the program:
  • Certified in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.
  • Being considered for a contract to teach Vietnamese to foreigners.
4. Total course tuition fee (estimated)
  • Students of the Faculty of Linguistics: 1,500,000 VND
  • Graduate students and doctoral candidates of the Faculty of Linguistics: 2,000,000 VND
  • Other subjects: 2,500,000 VND
5. Time and location of study
  • Course duration (tentative): from June 1st to July 15th, 2010
  • Location: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi
