11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The research findings of this thesis contribute to clarifying some issues regarding the origin and structure of medicinal plant names in Vietnamese (with Latin connections), providing structural models to analyze the direct constituent elements of the names; and exploring the cultural and national characteristics through the way Vietnamese people name medicinal plants.

12. Practical applications:

This dissertation can serve as a reference for compiling, revising, and standardizing texts, documents, and textbooks on Traditional Medicine in academies and schools. This will contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning in medicine and pharmacy at educational institutions nationwide.

13. Future research directions:

This dissertation has contributed to clarifying several issues regarding the theory of nomenclature, and further clarified the origin, structure, and basis of naming Vietnamese medicinal plants and their Latin names. This reveals the distinct cultural characteristics of both languages. However, the dissertation still has some issues that the researcher has not had the opportunity to thoroughly investigate in both languages. Therefore, the researcher hopes that, when circumstances permit, these will serve as directions for further research that can build upon this dissertation in the future.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The thesis can be a reference for serving the compilation, revision, and unification of documents, documents and textbooks on traditional medicine in academia, school. Since then contributes to improving the quality, effectiveness of teaching and learning Medicine - Pharmacy in domestic teaching facilities.

13. Further research directions:

Within the framework of the thesis, it has helped clarify some issues of identification theory, and also clarify the origin, structure, and basis for identifying Vietnamese medicinal plants. Nam and the name of the medicinal plant in Latin. Thereby clearly see the cultural characteristics of the two nationalities. However, the thesis still has some issues that PhD students have not been able to thoroughly understand both languages. Therefore, PhD students are very eager when permit conditions, it is the next research directions that can continue this thesis in the future.
