- The thesis describes and analyzes the structure of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal discourse. From these analyses, the thesis points out the typical structure of appeal discourse.

- The thesis analyzes the actions of calling, advising and recommending in the speeches with the content of calling of President Ho Chi Minh.

- The thesis analyzes communication strategies and words used to address as expressions of linguistic power.

- The thesis conducts a study of three cases to clarify the characteristics of the appeal-content discourse and language of President Ho Chi Minh.
