- This dissertation describes and analyzes the structure of the discourse containing appeals made by President Ho Chi Minh. From this analysis, the dissertation identifies the typical structure of discourse containing appeals.
- This dissertation analyzes the acts of appeal, the act of counsel, and the act of recommendation in President Ho Chi Minh's discourse containing appeals.
- This thesis analyzes communication strategies and terms of address as expressions of linguistic power.
- This dissertation conducts research on three case studies to clarify the characteristics of discourse with a call to action and the language of President Ho Chi Minh.

- The thesis analyzes the actions of calling, advising, recommending in the call of President Ho discourse.
- The thesis analyzes communication strategies and words used for addressing as expression of languistic power.
- The thesis does research of 3 cases in order to clarify characteristic of discourse and language that President Ho used in the calling.
