- This thesis systematically reconstructs the process by which the Thai Nguyen Party Committee thoroughly understood and applied the policies and viewpoints of the Communist Party of Vietnam regarding agricultural economics to the local reality from 1997 to 2010.

- To create a vivid picture of the agricultural economy of Thai Nguyen province during the years 1997-2010 under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee.

- Analyzing the development of the Party Committee's awareness in leading and directing the implementation of agricultural economic development through the periods 1997-2000 and 2001-2010; contributing to summarizing practical and theoretical experiences, and suggesting lessons learned from the process of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee leading agricultural economic development.

11. Practical applications:

- This dissertation contributes to summarizing the leadership of the Party and the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen province in agricultural economics, a key sector of the Vietnamese economy during the years of reform.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The thesis has reconstructed economics about the process of the Thai Nguyen provincial Communist Party Committee in directing and applying all policies of agricultural economy of Vietnamese Communist Party based on the real situation of the province during the period 1997-2010.

Besides, the thesis has illustrated a lively picture about the fact of the agricultural economy of Thai Nguyen province from period (1997 – 2010) throughprovincial Communist Party Committee

The thesis has analyzed the maturations about the understanding of Thai Nguyen provincial Communist Party Committee in the leading, directing, and practicing process the agricultural economic policies during periods: 1997 – 2000 and 2001 – 2010. Furthermore, the thesis has also contributed to recapitulate in both practical and theoretical, suggesting several experiences which are concluded from the leadership process of the Party in agricultural economy.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

The thesis contributes to summarize the leadership of Vietnam Communist Party of Vietnam and Thai Nguyen provincial Communist Party Committee in agricultural economy which is considered as a main factor of Vietnam economic system since Doi Moi.

The thesis supplies valuable data for Thai Nguyen provincial communist Party Committee in continuing planning and directing policies in agricultural economy in renewal period.

The results of thesis is an important reference which is provided for research and teaching activities about Communist Party of Vietnam in academies and universities.
