10. Summary of new results of the thesis:
Firstly, the thesis has proven that literature is a form of modeling reality, thereby creating a usable scientific basis for studying typical realistic models in the novel genre.
Second, the thesis analyzed two typical realistic models in Vietnamese novels after 1986: simulated realistic model and staged realistic model.
Third, the thesis has pointed out the correlation between realistic models, thereby identifying the value and movement and innovation of Vietnamese novels after 1986.
11. Practical application:
The thesis can be used as a reference for studying, teaching and researching Literary Theory and Vietnamese Literature at high school and university levels.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
Firstly, the thesis proves that literature is a form of representing reality in the aim of laying the foundation to study forms of representation of reality in the novel genre.
Secondly, the thesis examines two forms of representation in post-1986 Vietnamese novels; These forms include imitation of reality and arrangement of reality.
Thirdly, the thesis demonstrates interactions and relations between different forms of representation of reality in the aim of eliminating moves and reforms of post-1986 Vietnamese novels.

The thesis can be served as a document for research, studying and teaching literature theory in high schools and at universities.
