- The thesis surveyed, classified, and described the formal structure of editorial discourse, the way in which the message of discourse is organized as a communication strategy, with typical characteristics ranging from formal structure to semantic organizational structure.

- The thesis also analyzes the context of use and explains its function as an important pragmatic driving force in fulfilling the interpersonal, ideological, and textual functions of editorial discourse.

- The thesis identifies the types of relationships and networks of argumentative relationships in editorial discourse through typical linguistic methods specific to genre, in order to reflect, convey, and influence the recipient and achieve the highest communication effectiveness.

11. Practical applications

- The research findings of this thesis on the topic, topic structure, and the organization/analysis of thematic relationships can help reporters and editors gain a systematic and comprehensive view when organizing, analyzing, processing, and adjusting texts at all levels and genres, making the process systematic, logical, coherent, and scientific.

- The analysis of the organizational structure and linguistic means of expressing the interactive and interpersonal functions of socio-political discourse contributes to serving the management of press and publishing; supporting press and publishing management agencies in orienting the strategy of language use in mass media; and in using language as a professional tool for politicians, diplomats, journalists, educators, etc.

- To study the relationship between thought and language in editorial discourse in particular, and political journalism in general;

- Studying the organizational structure and content aspects of discourse titles to achieve the highest communicative effectiveness;

- Compare and contrast the editorial discourse of Nhan Dan newspaper with other journalistic genres, including editorials in modern journalism.
