The research findings of this thesis can be applied in practice:

- To provide a theoretical basis and data for research on the use of the Korean language in Vietnam and in South Korea.

- To provide reference data for compiling a dictionary of TNĐGCN (Traditional Vietnamese Language and Culture) in Korean and Vietnamese.

- This helps Korean and Vietnamese translators gain a deeper understanding of the nuances of the language in Korean and Vietnamese, enabling them to translate more accurately and convey the expressiveness of both languages.

- To provide suitable materials for instructors in Korea and Vietnam to teach Vietnamese people who want to learn advanced Korean language and culture, and Koreans who want to learn advanced Vietnamese language and culture.

13. Future research directions:

The linguistic cultures of Korea and Vietnam have been influenced by Chinese idioms, so both nations use many nationalized (i.e., Koreanized and Vietnameseized) idioms of Chinese origin. In the process of nationalization, these idioms reflect the linguistic and cultural characteristics (concepts and ways of thinking) of each nation. Therefore, there may be differences in structure and meaning between Koreanized and Vietnameseized Chinese-origin idioms.

Based on the above reasoning, the theoretical foundation, and the achievements of this LA, we intend to compare and contrast the structure and semantics of Koreanized Chinese idioms and Vietnameseized Chinese idioms to examine the similarities and differences in language and culture between the Korean and Vietnamese people.

The results of the thesis can be practically applied as follows:

- Provide the basis of theory and the data for the studies on Korean idioms evaluating human characters and Vietnamese idioms evaluating human characters.

- Provide the referential data for the tasks compiling the dictionaries of Korean idioms evaluating human characters and the dictionaries of Vietnamese idioms evaluating human characters.

- Assist the Koran and Vietnamese translators to understand more deeply Korean and Vietnamese idioms evaluate human characters, and be able to translate more correctly in order to transfer the emotions of two nations.

- Provide the adequate data for the Korean teachers and Vietnamese teachers who teach Vietnamese people who want to study Korean language and culture of advanced level, and Korean people who want to study Vietnamese language and culture of advanced level as well.

13. Future research directions:

The language culture of Korea and Vietnam has been influenced by Chinese idioms, therefore both nations are using a lot of Chinese idioms transformed into Korean and Vietnamese. While being transformed into Korean and Vietnamese, these idioms reflect the features of language and culture (notions and thinking ways) of two nations. Therefore, there could exist differences of constructions and meanings between Chinese idioms transformed into Korean and Chinese idioms transformed into Vietnamese.

Depending upon the theory mentioned above and the theoretical basis and the achievements of this thesis, we are going to compare and contrast the constructions and meanings between Chinese idioms transformed into Korean and Chinese idioms transformed into Vietnamese in order to observe the same things and the different things of language and culture between Korean and Vietnamese.
