Summary of new results of the thesis: The research results of the thesis will contribute to clarifying the characteristics of cultural acculturation through language contact between Vietnamese and Chinese; the national characteristics of culture and thinking of native speakers are expressed through language. From there, we can see the role of cultural and thinking factors in creating the basis for language comparison.
The thesis is a work applying semantic theory to the study of Chinese and Vietnamese to analyze and evaluate textual and linguistic materials in real life. Based on the analysis of meaning, the thesis attempts to clarify the cognitive path of Chinese and Vietnamese people about words.flowerand words indicating some typical flowers. Through case studies, the thesis aims to clarify the proposition of Sino-Vietnamese contact in terms of language and culture showing inheritance and development. The research results of the thesis can be used to serve the teaching of Chinese and Vietnamese as foreign languages; support the analysis and commentary, appreciation of literary works in schools as well as the public and can help with translation activities.
12. Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis can be applied to foreign language teaching as well as translation work. Through in-depth analysis of the Chinese language, we have a deeper understanding of the Chinese language and culture. On the basis of comparison with Vietnamese, Vietnamese people learning Chinese, as well as Chinese people learning Vietnamese, can have a deeper understanding of the languages of ethnic groups, contributing positively to foreign language learning, textbook compilation as well as translation and dictionary compilation.
13. Further research directions: Within the framework of the thesis, studying the relationship between language and culture, especially conducting the connection between two languages, the thesis still has some issues that we have not had the conditions to thoroughly study both languages. Therefore, we really hope that when conditions permit, these will be the next research directions that can continue this thesis in the future.

The research results of the thesis will contribute to clarify the cultural acculturation characteristics through the language contact between Vietnamese and Chinese; Ethnic characteristics of the culture and thinking of native speakers are expressed through language. The thesis is the work of applying semantic theory to the study of Chinese and Vietnamese to analyze and evaluate the literary materials and languages in real life. On the basis of meaning analysis, the thesis tries to clarify the cognitive path of the Chinese as well as the Vietnamese about the words flowers and from only some typical flowers. Through case studies, the thesis aims to clarify the Han-Vietnamese contact clause in terms of language and culture that express inheritance and development. The research results of the thesis can be used for teaching Chinese and Vietnamese as foreign languages; assist in analyzing and commenting on and absorbing literary works in the school as well as in the public and can help with translation activities.
