  1. Summary of new results of the thesis:
  • The thesis synthesizes and analyzes related concepts to provide the definition, characteristics, principles and content of "organizing marketing activities at national archives". This is the scientific basis for the National Archives Centers of Vietnam to apply in implementing marketing activities.
  • The thesis analyzes factors affecting the marketing activities of Vietnamese national marketing centers to detect positive and negative factors to serve the development of appropriate solutions.
  • The thesis studies the products and services currently provided at the National Archives Centers of Vietnam, the distribution methods, costs and forms of promotion for those products and services. In addition, the thesis discusses the current situation of organizing marketing activities at the National Archives Centers of Vietnam.
  • The thesis proposes groups of solutions on the process of organizing marketing activities, groups of solutions on organization - expertise and recommendations to relevant agencies such as the State Archives Department, other historical archives and the Vietnam Archives Association.
  1. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis can be directly applied to National Archives Center I, National Archives Center II, National Archives Center III and National Archives Center IV. In addition, other historical archives can also apply this research results.

- The thesis collects and analyzes ideas to set out the definition, characteristics, principles, and concepts of “marketing activities in national archives”. This is the scientific basis that Vietnam National Archives Centers can apply in implementing marketing activities.

- The thesis analyzes the factors involved on marketing activities of Vietnam National Archives Centers, and discovers both positive and negative factors to find out suitable solutions.

- The thesis studies the products and services which are provided in Vietnam National Archives Centers, as well as methods of distribution, promotion and expenditures on those products and services. On the other hand, the thesis discusses organization of marketing activities in Vietnam National Archives Centers.

- The thesis suggests solutions on procedures of organizing marketing activities, on organization and specialty and recommendations towards relevant agencies such as National Archives of Vietnam, Archives Association of Vietnam and other historical archives.

  1. Practical applicability
