10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
This dissertation is the first systematic study on the role of Vietnam's intellectual elite during the Doi Moi (Renovation) period. Based on officially published materials both domestically and internationally, the dissertation has constructed a relatively complete theoretical framework on Vietnam's intellectual elite, contributing to the interpretation and clarification of their role in the development and revitalization of the country. At the same time, the dissertation also offers some recommendations on solutions to further enhance the role of this group in the next phase of the Doi Moi process in Vietnam.

This dissertation can be used as a reference for students and trainees majoring in Vietnamese politics, and for anyone interested in studying the intellectual or elite class of Vietnam.

The thesis is the first study with systematic method about the role of the Vietnamese elite intellectuals in the Renovation Period. Based on official data sources have been published both at home and abroad, the thesis has developed a theoretical framework relatively completed about the Vietnamese elite intellectuals, contributed to interpretation and clarification of the role of them for career development and revive the country. At the same time, the thesis also gives a few recommendations to further promote the role of this team in the next stage of the renovation process in Vietnam.

The thesis can be used as reference material in the learning of students, who study Politics Vietnam and for those interested in research about intellectual and elite in Vietnam.
