Reconstructing, in a relatively complete way, the political press in Vietnam during the period 1925-1945. with typical political journalistic trends during this period.

- To outline an overview of Marxist and Western perspectives on the relationship between the press and political life.

- To portray the appearance, foundations, and development of political journalism in Vietnam before 1925 and during the period 1925-1945.

- Analyzing the content and artistry of Vietnamese political journalism, focusing on clarifying the similarities and differences in the content of various political journalistic trends; the journalistic art of public, legal press and the propaganda art of clandestine publications under the colonial regime.

- Assess the role of political journalism in Vietnamese political life, as demonstrated by its impact on the colonial government, political parties and movements, and the public: journalism as an "ideological weapon" of political parties, a means to enhance patriotism and political awareness among the masses, and to promote political movements. From this, draw lessons and historical significance for the current practice of journalism and politics.

Define relatively completely political journalism in Vietnam 1925-1945; identify the conditions for the foundation and development of political journalism in Vietnam, the relationship between journalism and politics.

- Classify political journalism in the period 1925-1945, state out some typical newspapers of different political trends. Analyze the content and newspaper arts of political journalism, which focus on understanding the similarities and the differences of the political press trends in Vietnam during the period 1925-1945.

- Evaluate the different roles of political journalism in Vietnam's politics from 1925 to 1945, expressed through its impact on the colonial government, the political parties and political movements, to the masses: journalism as a “thought-weapon” of the parties and the political movements; journalism as motivator behind rising nationalism and raising the level of political consciousness of the masses; journalism as direct contributor to political movements. From which to draw lessons and historical significance for the political journalism and Vietnam politics today.

In terms of theory, a systematic analysis of the political press 1925-1945, showing the characteristics, classification and assessment of the role of political journalism in Vietnam politics in this period, the thesis will contribute to clarify the relationship between political press and Vietnam politics in an important formative period of modern Vietnamese history. In addition, a concept is also introduced into the Vietnamese discourse -political journalism in Vietnam, its formation and development analyzed along with its characteristics and classifications of media type.

In practical terms, in the current period, the relation between media and politics is increasingly complex. Analyzing the characteristics and previous methods of managing this relationship in the history of Vietnam's revolution will be practical and valuable suggestions for journalists and the authorities in Vietnam.
