- Through exploring several issues related to traditional and modern elements, the thesis has suggested some directions for the development of contemporary fiction about ethnic groups and mountainous regions.

- The dissertation affirmed the role, position, and values ​​of stories about ethnic minorities in mountainous regions within Vietnamese revolutionary prose during the period 1945-1975.
