11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- This dissertation is a systematic and in-depth research work on women's journalism and the issue of feminism in Vietnam today. Studying women's journalism and feminism represents a new direction in specialized journalism research.
- The dissertation provides scientific arguments that contribute to supplementing and developing the Party's theoretical system on leading women's liberation and empowering women; and on leading and managing the press in communicating women's rights issues in light of practical development requirements.
- The dissertation has systematized the concepts, theoretical foundations, and practices related to the topic. From this, it supplements and develops the theory of feminism and the issue of feminism in journalism in general and women's journalism in particular.
- The thesis has surveyed and evaluated the current state of media coverage of women's rights in women's journalism; it has identified successes and limitations, and the causes of these successes and limitations.
- The thesis has highlighted several lessons learned from international media coverage of women's rights. It also proposes several solutions and recommendations to improve and innovate media coverage of women's rights in women's journalism today. Through this, it contributes to influencing and promoting women's journalism to communicate for women's rights, for the advancement of Vietnamese women, and for gender equality in the 21st century.
12. Practical applications:
- This thesis provides valuable experiences, solutions, and recommendations for reference to agencies directing, guiding, and managing the press; governing bodies and press agencies in the process of innovating content and methods, and improving the quality and effectiveness of press communication on women's rights issues.
- This dissertation serves as a reference for press agencies, government departments responsible for women's issues; socio-political organizations associated with women, and training and research institutions in the fields of journalism and women's rights.
13. Future research directions: The doctoral candidate will expand the scope of journalistic research to include the issue of feminism; further refine solutions and recommendations, and develop a clearer and more specific set of criteria for journalism in general, and women's journalism in particular, to communicate about feminism in the modern context.

- The thesis provides scientific arguments and contributes to supplementing and developing the Communist Party's theoretical system on leadership for women's liberation and empowerment and on the leadership and management of the press in communication about feminism to address practical requirements of development.
- The thesis has systematized the concepts and theoretical and practical bases related to the subject matter, based on which to contribute to the development of theories on feminism and feminist issues in the press and the women's press in particular.
- The thesis examines and assesses the current situation of communication about feminism in the women's press and points out its successes and limitations and their causes.
