International projects

The international projects implemented by the units in the school have made great contributions to improving the quality of teaching, scientific research, curriculum development, training of graduate and doctoral students, compiling and publishing documents and textbooks... in the units directly participating in and implementing the projects. Based on funding from international organizations and international projects, the school organizes many large international scientific conferences, attracting the participation of many famous scholars, inviting many prestigious foreign lecturers and scientists to teach and give scientific presentations, and creating conditions for many lecturers of the school to have the opportunity to conduct research and scientific exchanges abroad, contributing to enhancing the image, brand and reputation of the school.

  • Reforming Vietnam's Education Policy (funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation)
  • Film Certificate Program
  • Project to support the development of the Department of Anthropology (funded by the Ford Foundation)
  • Anthropological Research Project (funded by the French Development Agency)
  • Project on Building a Doctoral Training Program and Improving Teaching and Research Capacity in Anthropology (sponsored by the Wenner Gren Foundation, USA)
  • Improving the Quality of Teaching European Studies in Vietnam (Funded by the Jean Monnet Foundation - European Commission)
  • Capacity building collaboration at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on fundamental areas of international research in a rapidly developing context (funded by the Republic of Ireland)
  • Improving information literacy for first-year students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU (funded by the Australian Government's Small Grants Fund)
  • Promoting open educational materials for higher education in Vietnam (UNESCO funded)
  • Increasing understanding and promoting youth participation in activities promoting the right to access information in Vietnam (funded by the Embassy of Canada in Hanoi)
  • Excavation and research of the archaeological site of Thach Lac, Ha Tinh (sponsored by Australian National University)
  • Enhancing Innovation and Research Capacity in Vietnam - ENHANCE (European Commission funded)
