That was the theme of the International Scientific Conference that took place on October 28, 2024 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). The conference was chaired and organized by the Faculty of Philosophy, VNU-USSH, attracting the attention and participation of many scientists from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, universities in Vietnam and many international scholars (China, Thailand, France, Taiwan (China)) with nearly 70 scientific reports sent to attend.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Government's promulgation of the Decree on VNU (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2024), VNU Electronic Information Portal respectfully introduces an article by Prof. Dr. of Science, People's Teacher Vu Minh Giang, Chairman of the VNU Science and Technology Council, former Vice President of VNU, on the major and important orientations of the Party for the development of VNU in the new period. As a Professor of History, he has given his opinions on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of Vietnamese higher education with clear, specific viewpoints and linked to reality and the development trends of the times.

On November 9, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) coordinated with the Vietnam Philosophy Association and Halotimes Group to organize the 2024 Vietnam Philosophy Olympiad with the sponsorship of Soctrip. On the morning of November 4, Prof. Gary Mariano (former Dean of the Faculty of Communication, De La Salle University, Philippines) gave a presentation on the topic “Policy on management and use of AI in newsrooms in the Philippines and suggestions for Vietnam” at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Also attending the seminar were many experts, journalists, press and media managers in Vietnam, along with a large number of lecturers, students, and PhD students of the Institute of Journalism and Communication.

On October 18, 2024, the International Conference on Knowledge Management: Leadership and Innovation, ICKM2024, took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The conference was co-organized by the Faculty of Library and Information, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi (VNU-USS), the Faculty of Library and Information, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM City and the Southern University Library Association. The ICKM2024 conference is within the framework of cooperation to enhance scientific research activities between the two universities of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the afternoon of September 29, the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to organize a seminar on "Solutions to improve the quality of doctoral training, law training and admissions". Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh chaired the seminar.

In 2024, higher education will undergo many dramatic changes, requiring universities to renew their perspectives on interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary development and Innovation - Creativity as well as vocational education for learners.

All are gathered quite smoothly, creating the mark of Pham Quang Long's style in the stream of novels written about the contemporary countryside.

On October 4, 2023, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, VNU-USSH) had a meeting and exchange with nearly 40 visiting professors and researchers working at the University on the occasion of the opening of the new school year.
