Attending the event were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee and Principal of the School; Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh, Chairwoman of the School's Trade Union, and 129 officers and union members of the School.
The location chosen for the tour is, in fact, the special national relic of Phat Tich Pagoda (Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province). The pagoda was built in the 10th century, one of the oldest pagodas with architecture bearing the mark of the Ly dynasty.
Next, the delegation visited Diem village (Viêm Xá- Yên Phong) - the ancestral village of Quan Ho, visited the Diem village festival, one of the largest traditional festivals taking place in Bac Ninh city, visited some famous relics: Temple of the Quan Ho ancestor, Cung temple - Ngoc well, Diem communal house. Returning to the land of Tien Du of Kinh Bac homeland, the delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had the opportunity to enjoy the unique Quan Ho melodies - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO.
Also during the visit and practice at Diem village, the delegation had an exchange with the Quan Ho Artist Group and K40 alumni of the School. In the afternoon, the delegation visited and took photos at the Red River Stone Garden.
The practical activities organized by the School’s union help union members experience the traditional cultural beauty of the regions; understand and appreciate the value of the nation’s cultural heritage. At the same time, through these activities, it has created cohesion among female staff in particular and the entire staff of the School in general, promising a new year with many successes in work as well as in life.
On the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, on behalf of the Board of Directors, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan sent best wishes and beautiful bouquets of flowers to the female staff and lecturers of the School.
The group took souvenir photos at Phat Tich Pagoda and interacted with Quan Ho artists.
