March 2023 University-wide Meeting: Completing and putting into operation the software systems for administrative management, training, and student support.

On March 6, 2023, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan chaired the monthly meeting of the entire school for March 2023. Attending the meeting were the Vice Principals, Secretaries of the Party branches, Heads of the school's affiliated units, and leaders of the various student organizations.
Before the conference began, on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th, on behalf of the Board of Directors, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan extended his congratulations to all female staff, lecturers, and female students of the University.

Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong and the Chairwoman of the School's Trade Union, Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh, received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the School's Board of Directors on behalf of the female staff and lecturers.
In his opening remarks at the conference, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan reviewed the achievements of February and emphasized several key areas to be completed in March and the first quarter of 2023.
Also at the meeting, the teachers in the Board of Directors, representatives of the departments and centers presented an overview of the most outstanding results in the fields of quality assurance, training, and student affairs in February, and noted some areas that need to be focused on and completed in March.

Dr. Pham Huy Cuong (Director of the Center for Training Quality Assurance) emphasized that the main focus of accreditation work in March is completing the official survey at the Ministry of Education and Training level for 4 programs and the accreditation of the Anthropology program at the AUN level.

Dr. Dinh Tien Hieu (Deputy Head of the Student Affairs and Student Support Department) noted the importance of completing student information verification files in accordance with the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Principal of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities) happily announced the good news that the High School for Gifted Students had led the entire delegation in the recent Olympic competition of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong noted several key activities for March: strengthening communication about academic programs and disseminating the latest information from the Ministry of Education and Training and Vietnam National University, Hanoi regarding university admissions in 2023; supporting students in completing foreign language requirements to ensure graduation standards; and organizing a Job Fair to connect students with businesses and help them find suitable jobs after graduation.

Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh announced that in March, the installation of the entire school's Wi-Fi system will be completed, and the E-office system will be deployed to all staff members. Simultaneously, plans will be developed to renovate the facade of Building A, making it more spacious and providing greater amenities for the school's activities.
After listening to the exchange and discussion at the briefing meeting on the following contents: (1) Report on the implementation of work in February 2023 and the work plan for March 2023; (2) Opinions of the Vice-Rectors; (3) Exchange and discussion of units and functional departments, the Rector concluded by emphasizing some key tasks in March:
- The review and supplementation of the planning must be implemented synchronously and in accordance with the roadmap of the University's Party Committee, paying particular attention to the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Hanoi City Party Committee on personnel planning.
- The units are reviewing the list of staff and lecturers subject to adjustment under Government Decree 50 and finalizing the report to send to the University.
- Strengthen communication efforts, coordinating with agencies and partners such as newspapers and television stations to promote the school's image, widely disseminate information about the academic programs, and update students and parents on the schedule, methods, and adjustments compared to the previous year through various communication channels.
- Instruct relevant departments, divisions, and the Youth Union to strengthen support for students in completing their foreign language certificates as soon as possible, ensuring they meet the graduation requirements so they can graduate on time.
- The Training Department, in coordination with the Philosophy Faculty, is urgently reviewing the teaching of Philosophy to postgraduate students to promptly rectify any shortcomings and ensure the rights of the students.
- Relevant departments and divisions should focus intensely on preparing for the evaluation of the four training programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training and the evaluation of the Anthropology program according to AUN standards in March 2023.
- The Administrative and General Affairs Department and the Communication and Information Technology Center are tasked with completing the procedures to deploy the VNU-office document management and operational software to all units, and urgently completing and putting into use management software, especially software related to training and student support.
