Attending the program were comrade Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of the Vietnam Education Trade Union; comrade Bui Duc Tho - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Council of the National Economics University, comrade Nguyen Viet Thai - Chairman of the Trade Union of the University of Commerce (head of emulation cluster No. 2) and representatives of the Trade Union leaders of the following units: National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, University of Industrial Fine Arts, University of Construction, Hanoi Medical University, University of Science and Technology, University of Mining and Geology; University of Transport; Vietnam Academy of Agriculture. The delegation of officials from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) participating in the exchange was led by comrade Nguyen Van Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thai and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An highly appreciated the initiative of emulation group No. 2 for its significance in organizing effective and practical emulation movements that have a wide influence on the staff, teachers and workers in the units of the group. Through these activities, it contributes to creating a spirit of solidarity, creativity, overcoming difficulties, and striving to complete all assigned tasks in the 2022-2023 school year.
Within the framework of the tournament, 4 football matches (8 participating teams) and more than 10 tennis matches were held at 2 courts in the sports area of the National Economics University.
After the opening ceremony, football and tennis matches took place. The men's football team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the opening friendly football match with the National Economics University team.
