Attending and directing the Conference were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Ms. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh – President of the University's Trade Union; members of the University's Trade Union Executive Committee; and presidents of departmental trade unions.
Speaking at the Conference, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the 30th Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union, term 2017-2023, while emphasizing that the upcoming tasks will require even higher standards. The University's Trade Union needs to ensure the process is carried out with the highest humanistic spirit to successfully organize the 31st Congress of the University's Trade Union, term 2023-2028, and elect a new Executive Committee to continue leading the University's trade union movement to even greater success, working alongside the University leadership to build a stronger and more prosperous University.

At the Conference, Ms. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh – President of the University's Trade Union – on behalf of the Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union, presented the criteria and standards for re-election of personnel according to Guidance No. 49/HD-CD ĐHQGHN dated July 26, 2022, of the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on some contents of personnel work for the Congress of the higher-level trade union and grassroots trade unions under the Vietnam Education Trade Union.
The conference conducted a five-step voting process to nominate candidates for re-election and unanimously agreed to nominate 10 members of the School's Trade Union Executive Committee and 2 members of the School's Trade Union Inspection Committee for re-election to the School's Trade Union Executive Committee and Trade Union Inspection Committee for the 31st term, 2023-2028.
