Based on the practical training experience at the Faculty, Dr. Le Thi Thu Giang, Head of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, suggested that the university should divide students into majors earlier to avoid a situation where, after one year of study, students are not able to enroll in their preferred major and areas of expertise, potentially leading some to drop out.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Rector, highly appreciated the proposals and exchange of opinions from the representatives of the training units. Responding to the proposal from the representative of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong shared: In the 2025 admissions plan, the Training Department will closely coordinate with the Faculty to develop specific guidelines from the outset on dividing students into specialized fields (Chinese Studies, Indian Studies, Thai Studies, etc.) to avoid situations where students complete their first year and then are unable to enter their preferred majors, wasting students' time and the university's resources.
Regarding quality assurance work, Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong noted that 2025 will be the second accreditation cycle for many training programs, and requested that heads of units pay close attention to the preparation of supporting documents to ensure timely implementation.

Based on listening to the opinions and exchanges from the Vice Rectors, representatives of the functional departments, and training units, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan concluded:
- We request that all Party branches review and standardize their Party work, ensuring strict adherence to principles and regulations. Party branches should also review and finalize documents/records related to Party work, in preparation for the meeting with the University Party Committee in October 2024.
- Accelerate the standardization of management and organization processes for postgraduate training according to the full-time undergraduate training model: assign the University's Training Department as the focal point for managing and organizing training for general subjects at the postgraduate level, with units responsible for specialized subjects. Conduct a review and develop a plan to arrange for administrative staff to participate in postgraduate training assistance at training units.
- Promote the development of new training programs, integrating specialized fields and postgraduate training programs. However, the opening of new programs or the integration of specialized fields and programs must pay special attention to the human resource needs of society and be based on orders from state agencies/businesses.
- We request that heads of units pay more attention and be more proactive in effectively conducting surveys of graduates, serving quality accreditation and other related activities.
- Urgently complete the review of documents supporting international publications and rewarding international publications; propose options for supplementing/adjusting policies and methods for supporting and rewarding international publications.
- Strengthen the development of textbooks and specialized books, especially for disciplines with limited or outdated teaching and reference materials. The university has established mechanisms and committed to investing funds and providing maximum support for textbook compilation. Heads of departments are requested to widely disseminate this information and encourage faculty and scientists to prioritize this work.
- Continue to propose research directions in basic science, topics, and quality improvement initiatives closely linked to expertise, focusing on innovating modern teaching methods, updating the latest research achievements, and developing electronic lectures.
- Renovation and upgrading of facilities: implemented in a prompt, safe, and economical manner, minimizing the impact on the daily activities of lecturers, staff, students, and trainees.
