Through various forms of support, officers and lecturers have also enthusiastically responded to contributions at their residences, at schools or in direct support activities to people in flood-affected areas.
In addition, the VNU Trade Union in general and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities Trade Union in particular, with the high consensus of all staff and lecturers, have also stopped organizing the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival program, using the organization's budget to support flood victims; many units with donated products such as food, drinking water, books, etc. directly contacted the localities to send gifts.
The VNU Trade Union is committed to supporting the right people for the right purposes. VNU will comply with three spending objectives: contributing a part to the general support fund of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, a part will be used to support VNU students affected by the recent storm, and a part will go directly to the most severely affected people and directly donate to a specific school.
Although the above contribution is not large compared to the loss of the people in the North, with all the compassion, sharing spirit, and social responsibility of a university training unit, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hopes to accompany the people in the North in difficult times, quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters to return to normal life!
