This morning, June 24, 2025, nearly 100 faculty and staff members from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, participated in a specialized training session on effective time management and work organization skills. The training was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Phung - former Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management; former member of the University's Trade Union Executive Committee; and Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Archives and Records Management - who directly shared and guided the content.
In his opening remarks, Professor Lai Quoc Khanh, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized the importance of time management skills in the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution. According to the Vice Rector, mastering time and organizing work effectively not only contributes to individual success but is also a decisive factor in the quality and efficiency of the entire organization. Therefore, this training session is of practical significance, making an important contribution to improving the capacity and quality of the University's staff and lecturers.
This is one of a series of activities organized by the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to enhance management and leadership capacity and develop soft skills for staff and lecturers, attracting the participation of a large number of union members throughout the university.

During the training session, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phung shared principles of effective time management, how to apply digital technology and social media to save time, and methods for organizing work scientifically for individuals and teams. Her sharing was not only theoretical but also illustrated with vivid practical examples from her teaching, research, management, and trade union activities. Through this, the participants were inspired and motivated to apply time management methods more effectively to their daily work.
The training session became lively as the staff and lecturers actively participated in discussions, sharing personal experiences in time management, work handling, and balancing professional duties with personal life.
