University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The course, organized by the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is for staff and employees working in administration, office management, and document archiving at the Hanoi Transport Corporation, and will be held on April 21-22, 2026.

This is the objective of the training course "Administrative and Office Management Skills and Archival and Document Management Skills" for administrative staff, launched by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi on April 23, 2026.

Within the framework of the cooperation and academic exchange program between Aix-Marseille University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, under the auspices of the European Commission through the Erasmus+ scholarship program, a delegation from the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management held working sessions with key partners in the Republic of France. These exchanges not only strengthened traditional cooperative relations but also opened up many practical directions for collaboration in training, scientific research, and the development of professional projects in the future.

As part of the USSH Open Day 2026 program, on March 26, 2026, the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a talk show: “From the Classroom to the Enterprise: A Journey to Building a Career” for final-year students of the Faculty – those who are standing at an important crossroads in their lives.

On March 20, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (specifically the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management) organized a scientific seminar with the theme: “The responsibility of the Archival sector in building the national data infrastructure – Goals and directions for implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party”.

On March 6, 2026, as part of the course "Communication in Archival Studies," the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a field trip for students of classes K68 and K69 majoring in Archival Studies to visit and experience activities at the exhibition space "Viewing Royal Annotations - Preserving the Mark of Woodblock Prints." The visiting group was led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Duc, M.Sc., Lecturer of the Faculty, in charge of teaching the course.

From January 7th to January 17th, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (specifically the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management) collaborated with Viettel Customer Service Company to organize a training course on "Architectural Document Arrangement and Digitization" to equip and update personnel directly involved in managing, exploiting, and conducting archival services with systematic knowledge and skills.

To meet the needs for standardization and professional development in the fields of administration, office management, and document management and archiving at central and local agencies, organizations, and businesses, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is pleased to announce the enrollment plan for the certificate training course “Administrative and Office Management Skills and Document Management and Archiving” and the “Document Management and Archiving Professional Skills” course in December 2025 – January 2026. The details are as follows:

New perspectives from domestic and international scientists were exchanged at the international workshop “Archival documents sources about the Vietnam - France relationship - Interdisciplinary Approach” organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Vietnam and Aix-Marseille University on November 5, 2025.

On November 3, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the School of Arts, Literature, Languages ​​and Humanities (ALLSH) of Aix-Marseille University (AMU), Republic of France. The meeting opened up many promising avenues for cooperation between these two leading institutions for training and research in the social sciences and humanities in Vietnam and France.

The Master's Program in Archival Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) offers students the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and broaden their international horizons, particularly through an Erasmus+ scholarship for a 4-month exchange program at Aix-Marseille Université (France). This is the only postgraduate program in Vietnam in the field of Archival Studies that provides the opportunity to study and conduct research at one of Europe's leading universities.

During the meeting on June 8, 2025, the two sides discussed numerous opportunities for cooperation in training and research in the field of archival studies.

This was the topic of a scientific conference jointly organized today, July 31, 2025, by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Ho Chi Minh City, and FSI Investment, Trade and Technology Development Joint Stock Company.

To contribute to standardizing capabilities and improving professional skills for administrative and office staff, secretaries, and assistants in agencies, organizations, and businesses nationwide, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is organizing a short-term training course on "Secretarial Skills" in August-September 2025.
