According to the school leaders, the exam structure was announced early by the school in February 2022 with some adjustments compared to the 2021 exam such as: Math changed from essay format to multiple choice format, test time 45 minutes (half the time compared to 2021).
The Literature subject retains the essay format but the test time is 90 minutes instead of 120 minutes like last year; the English subject retains the multiple choice format but the test time is 45 minutes (in 2021 it is 60 minutes).
In addition, to reduce pressure on candidates, the school reduced the exam time to 1 day compared to 2 days last year.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must take all four exams and not violate exam regulations. The score for each subject must be 4.0 or higher, and the score for the specialized subject must be 6.0 or higher.
The school considers admission based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the quota for each specialized class is full.
The admission score is the sum of the scores of the subjects on a 10-point scale, the specialized subject is multiplied by a factor of 2 and rounded to two decimal places. The school does not add priority points in admission.
In the 2022-2023 school year, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities will not consider direct admission. Evidence related to students' special achievements will be submitted when students are admitted.
Before 5:00 p.m. on June 10, 2022, the school will announce the exam results, admission results for specialized classes and admission information for high-quality classes on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
